The World Economic Forum (WEF), known for its annual summit in Davos, Switzerland, published a report today and shed light on the future of the job market.

It was emphasized that technology and digitalization both create new job fields and destroy old ones. According to the report, which is based on a survey of employers, close to a quarter of jobs are expected to change in the next 4 years.

While 69 million new jobs will be created in 2027, 83 million jobs will disappear. This means a 2% decrease in employment worldwide.

Office jobs such as working at the bank, secretarial and cashier were among the fastest to disappear. It was stated that the demand for machine learning and cybersecurity experts in artificial intelligence will increase.
