Decide a quit date

Alter your environment
If there are objects around you that remind you of your addiction or substance, you should remove them immediately. These can act as a trigger. If you are trying to quit smoking, you can refrain from coffee or alcohol for a some time.
Time for healthy route
As you have successfully created the basis of quitting addiction, it is time to change our eating habits as well as doing some physical activities. You should follow a healthy diet during quit period. Moreover, you should do physical activities to recover faster and for being busy.
Create a support network
Following the diet and gym rework, it is time to make a support network with our friends and family. Ask for their encouragement/motivation and support while letting them know that you are quitting. You can also want a review from them as to your progression.
You can also reach psychologist or experts to conduct your quitting period. They could give worthy advices along with plans.
