Critical features of Vivo Y77t are now revealed

Vivo appears to be on the verge of unveiling a new addition to its Y-series smartphones, dubbed the Vivo Y77t. This yet-to-be-announced device, bearing the model number V2278A, has made its first appearance on the Google Supported Devices list and Play Console. It's noteworthy that the same model number is associated with other Vivo phones as well.

The model number V2278A has been linked to the Vivo Y78 and Vivo Y78m. The Vivo Y78 has already been released, while the Y78m, spotted on the Play Console in May, is still waiting to see the light of day. Let's delve into the specifications for the Vivo Y77t that have surfaced via its Play Console listing.

The Play Console listing provides an image of the Vivo Y77t, showcasing a curved-edge display with a centrally located punch-hole. According to the listing, the display supports a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2388 pixels.

Under its sleek exterior, the Vivo Y77t houses the MediaTek MT6855 chip. This chip consists of 2 x ARM Cortex-A78 CPUs operating at 2.2GHz, 6 x ARM Cortex-A55 clocking at 2.0GHz, and the IMG BMX 8-256 950MHz GPU. These specifications reveal that the Vivo Y77t is powered by the Dimensity 7020 chipset.

The Play Console listing also reveals that the Vivo Y77t comes with 12 GB of RAM and runs on Android 13. However, no details regarding the device's camera setup, battery, or fast charging capabilities have been provided.

The Vivo Y78 boasts similar specifications, also featuring an 8-megapixel front camera, 50-megapixel dual rear cameras, and a 5,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging.

There is no official information available yet on when the Vivo Y77t will be launched or the markets where it will be made available. However, given that devices listed on the Play Console generally make their official debut soon after, it is reasonable to expect the Vivo Y77t to be officially announced in the coming weeks.
