The limelight, however, is expected to be stolen by the Galaxy Z Fold 5, featuring an advanced hinge mechanism and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. The smartphone's performance data have now appeared online through a Geekbench listing ahead of the launch.

The Geekbench listing, first spotted by Sammobile, provides some insights into the Galaxy Z Fold 5's capabilities. The listing is for the model number SM-F946B smartphone, assumed to be the global model of the Galaxy Z Fold 5. According to the details, it will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset with a base clock of 2.02GHz and a boost clock of 3.36GHz. The phone will be running on an Android 13-based operating system and is equipped with 12GB RAM.

The device's performance on Geekbench 6 resulted in impressive scores: 1,845 points on the single-core test and 5,083 points on the multi-core test. While the benchmark results did not provide any additional information, there are a few known details about the device.
