Huawei Enjoy 70 in the market with a large screen and powerful battery

Huawei recently introduced the Enjoy 70, a new mid-range smartphone in the Chinese market. Drawing design inspiration from the P60 flagship series, the Enjoy 70 is a successor to the Enjoy 60 and comes with several noteworthy features.

The device, identified by model number FGD-AL00, sports a teardrop-notch LCD panel offering HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. The refresh rate specifics are not mentioned in Huawei’s Vmall platform listing, suggesting it might be the standard 60Hz.

Powered by the Kirin 710A chipset, the Enjoy 70 lacks 5G connectivity but compensates with 8 GB of RAM. It is available in two storage options – 128 GB and 256 GB. One of the key highlights is its massive 6,000mAh battery, supported by 22.5W fast charging. The smartphone runs on Harmony OS 4.

Photography capabilities include an 8-megapixel front camera and a rear setup with a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel macro lens. For security, the device features a side-facing fingerprint sensor. Additional features include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, NFC, a USB-C port, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It also has a unique “Enjoy X” button, used for accessing frequently used apps and other functions.

The Huawei Enjoy 70 is priced at 1,199 Yuan ($170) for the 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage variant and 1,399 Yuan ($200) for the 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage model. It is available in Brilliant Black, Snowy White, and Emerald Green. A pre-order offer in China allows a 100 Yuan ($14) deposit to secure a 150 Yuan ($21) discount, bringing the prices down to 1,149 Yuan ($162) and 1,349 Yuan ($190) respectively. Additionally, the first 500 orders will receive a complimentary Huawei AI Speaker 2e. Currently, there is no information about the global availability of the Enjoy 70.
