Huawei has ventured into a promising collaboration with Chery, a renowned Chinese automobile maker, resulting in the birth of LUXEED. As a fresh entrant in the automobile world, LUXEED has unveiled its inaugural model, the Zhijie S7.

Chery, recognized for its Exceed series of cars, is taking a giant leap with the LUXEED lineup, thanks to its partnership with Huawei. During a press conference, Chery’s Executive VP, Gao Xinhua, drew parallels between the prestigious Exceed series and the luxury epitomized by brands like Mercedes-Benz. This comparison underscores Chery's dedication to excellence, luxury, and comfort.

Gao Xinhua further elaborated that the LUXEED series aims to mirror the allure of the electric “BMW” in China. This strategic move indicates that both the LUXEED and Exceed series will cater to distinct demographics within the Chinese automobile market. It's worth noting that the LUXEED series will play a pivotal role in Huawei’s foray into the smart car domain. Reports suggest that the new S7 will come powered by Huawei's proprietary motors. This rear-wheel drive variant boasts a commendable power output of 215 kilowatts.

Additionally, the S7's four-wheel-drive counterpart introduces a hefty 150 kilowatts to its front motors, culminating in a total system power of a whopping 365 kilowatts. Furthermore, LUXEED has ensured that the vehicle will feature cutting-edge LiDAR technology, facilitating top-tier smart driving assistance capabilities.
