iQOO is set to host a highly-anticipated launch event in China on July 4, where they will introduce the iQOO 11S, their latest flagship smartphone boasting impressive specifications. Joining the spotlight at the event will be the iQOO TWS 1, a cutting-edge pair of truly wireless earphones. Notably, iQOO's India division will also unveil the iQOO Neo 7 Pro on the same occasion. While awaiting the official unveiling, an insider source has provided intriguing insights into the processor and cooling system of the upcoming iQOO 11S smartphone.

According to Weibo tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS), the upcoming iQOO 11S smartphone will retain the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC clocked at 3.2GHz, similar to its predecessors, instead of opting for the overclocked 3.36GHz variant. It is worth noting that DCS has confirmed the inclusion of VC cooling in the device. However, there have been reports suggesting that the iQOO 11S might actually feature the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 2 processor.

In terms of display, the iQOO 11S is expected to offer a 6.78-inch E6 AMOLED Quad HD+ screen with a 144Hz refresh rate. There are speculations of a dedicated display chip for improved graphics and gaming performance. The smartphone will house a 4,700mAh battery within a metal frame. It is anticipated to offer up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. Software-wise, the device is likely to come with OriginOS 3.0-based Android 13 pre-installed.

Regarding the camera setup, the iQOO 11S is rumored to sport a 16MP front-facing camera, while the rear module is expected to feature a triple-camera configuration, spearheaded by a 50MP Sony IMX866V primary sensor. The smartphone is also said to support 200W fast charging technology.
