After introducing the 5G-enabled Moto G84 and Moto G54 in India, Motorola is now gearing up to unveil a new device from the Edge series later this week. While the exact name of the model hasn't been officially confirmed, speculation suggests it's the Motorola Edge 40 Neo. This device, which has been the subject of many recent rumors, is expected to make its debut on September 14 in India.

The Motorola Edge 40 Neo is believed to come with a 6.55-inch p-OLED display, offering a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels coupled with an impressive 144Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the phone might be powered by the Dimensity 1050 chipset. Notably, MediaTek has recently rebranded its chip series, leading to speculations that this particular chipset could be marketed as the Dimensity 7030. Further enriching its performance credentials, the device is likely to house 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of onboard storage.

Photography enthusiasts would be intrigued to know that the Edge 40 Neo is expected to come equipped with a 50-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilization. It's also speculated to feature a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 32-megapixel front camera, suitable for both selfies and video conferencing. Power won't be a concern, with its robust 5,000mAh battery and support for 68W fast charging.

For those who prioritize the software experience, the phone will be loaded with the Android 13 operating system, delivering a near-stock user interface. It won't be lacking in terms of other features either, offering an in-display fingerprint sensor, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and a USB-C port for connectivity. An IP68 rating ensures durability, providing resistance to water and dust.

Regarding its price, the exact figures for the Indian market remain undisclosed. However, as per some European reports, the phone might carry a price tag of 399 euros. Potential buyers can look forward to three color options: Black Beauty, Caneel Bay, and Soothing Sea.
