Motorola has confirmed the much-anticipated launch date of the Razr 40 series in India, building excitement among smartphone enthusiasts. The Lenovo-owned brand has set a definite date for the introduction of the Razr 40 Ultra and Razr 40 in the Indian market, signaling its commitment to cater to the country's tech-savvy consumer base.

Motorola has announced that the Razr 40 and Razr 40 Ultra will be launched in India on July 3. These highly anticipated foldable phones will be available for purchase not only from Motorola's official website but also from popular retailers such as Amazon, Reliance Digital, and select retail stores nationwide.

In preparation for the launch, Amazon has created a dedicated microsite for the devices, providing detailed specifications and features to potential buyers. This move allows consumers to explore the offerings and make informed decisions before the official release.

Motorola Razr 40 series specifications

Motorola is set to release two clamshell foldable phones, the Razr 40 and Razr 40 Ultra, with the Ultra model being the more premium offering. Both devices offer versatile usage with multiple angles and can be unfolded to reveal a 6.9-inch internal screen, featuring a 165Hz refresh rate on the Razr 40 and a higher 144Hz refresh rate on the Ultra variant.

Both phones boast a 32MP front-facing camera for capturing selfies. The Razr 40 Ultra sports a larger secondary 3.6-inch OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, while the standard variant has a smaller 1.5-inch secondary screen. Notably, there are discrepancies between the two models in the camera department, with the Ultra featuring a 12MP main sensor and the standard version equipped with a 64MP primary lens.

In terms of internals, the Razr 40 Ultra is powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, while the Razr 40 houses a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset. Both phones support 33W fast charging and wireless charging capabilities. The Ultra model is fueled by a 3,800mAh battery, while the standard variant boasts a slightly larger 4,200mAh battery.
