Motorola, in partnership with Pantone, has consistently unveiled smartphones that showcase precise Pantone-validated colors each year. For 2023, the company launched a series of devices in Viva Magenta, Pantone’s color choice for the year. Continuing this tradition, Motorola has now introduced two of its models, the Moto Razr 40 Ultra and Edge 40 Neo, in Peach Fuzz, Pantone's 2024 Color of the Year.

Ruben Castano, Motorola's Head of Customer Experience and Design, emphasizes the vital role of color in their ongoing partnership with Pantone. He points out that as technology increasingly intertwines with human experiences, color becomes a crucial tool for expression and meaningful interactions. The Pantone Color of the Year 2024, PANTONE 13-1023 Peach Fuzz, is particularly noted for its ability to blend the virtual and real worlds, aligning with Motorola’s vision of fostering deeper human connections and well-being.

Laurie Pressman, Vice President of the Pantone Color Institute, echoes the sentiments on this collaboration. She commends Motorola's commitment to fostering creativity, connection, and personalization through the use of color in their devices. Pressman highlights PANTONE 13-1023 Peach Fuzz as a color that embodies connection, community, and personal well-being, suggesting that it is tailored for the physicality of digital devices and will enhance the user experience.

The introduction of the Moto Razr 40 Ultra and Edge 40 Neo in Peach Fuzz maintains the original pricing. In addition to Peach Fuzz, the Razr 40 Ultra is available in Glacier Blue, Infinite Black, and Viva Magenta, while the Edge 40 Neo comes in Caneel Bay, Black Beauty, and Soothing Sea. This move by Motorola underlines the importance of color in technology, not only in physical devices but also in software, enhancing the impact on human connection, personal expression, and well-being.
