Honor has recently unveiled a slew of new smartphones, including standout models such as the Honor V Purse and Honor X40 GT Racing, among others. The brand seems to be maintaining its momentum, as there's now buzz surrounding an upcoming model, the Honor X9B. This new entrant follows its predecessor, the Honor X9A, which saw its release in China last December.

Recent certifications are adding to the anticipatory atmosphere. The Honor X9B made its appearance on Singapore's IMDA certification platform and, subsequently, on the UAE's TDRA. Both certifications confirmed the model as ALI-NX1, indicating its imminent launch. However, the listings were somewhat tight-lipped, providing only limited information about the specifications and features.

Nevertheless, what's clear is that the Honor X9B will support 5G connectivity and will likely boast enhanced specifications. While specifics about the X9B remain scant at the moment, drawing parallels with its predecessor might give us some hints. It's anticipated that the X9B will retain its position in the mid-range segment and possibly mirror the design elements of the X9A.

To recount, the Honor X9A sported a 6.67-inch AMOLED display, flaunting Full HD+ resolution, a 120GHz refresh rate, and a 10-bit color panel. Under the hood, it ran on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC, backed by 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The software front saw Android 12 OS, while its battery capacity rested at 5,100 mAh, complemented by 40W fast charging. The phone's photographic capabilities were helmed by a triple-rear camera setup, with a 64MP primary sensor leading the charge.

While we await more concrete details, the tech community is eager for further leaks and certifications that could shed more light on the Honor X9B's offerings.
