Nokia announced two new industrial phone models this time

Nokia has recently unveiled two industrial phones specifically designed to withstand harsh conditions: the Nokia HHRA501x and the Nokia IS540.1. These phones were developed in collaboration with the German firm i.safe MOBILE Gmbh, emphasizing durability and safety. With their rugged features, these models are especially suited for heavy-duty industries such as mining, oil, gas, and chemicals.

Both devices are classified as EX, meaning they can be safely used in environments with varying levels of explosion risks, such as ATEX Zone 1 and ATEX Zone 2. Their rigorous testing has proven their capability in these tough settings. Furthermore, they have acquired the necessary certifications, ensuring they support the required frequency bands for their target industries.

The phone is powered by a 4,400mAh removable battery. While it bears some resemblance to the Nokia 800 Tough, there are noticeable improvements and a refreshed logo.

Although the full specifications of both phones have not been detailed, their launch has sparked interest. However, information regarding their pricing and availability remains undisclosed as of now.
