OnePlus is gearing up to turn a new page in the tech world with its upcoming flagship models, the 12R and 12.
OnePlus has officially announced the global launch date for its anticipated OnePlus 12R, set for January 23. This announcement comes alongside the introduction of the OnePlus 12, marking a significant event for the brand. The OnePlus 12R, a rebranded version of the OnePlus Ace 3, is set to first make its debut in China on January 4.
In a departure from its usual market strategy, OnePlus has decided to release the OnePlus 12R in various global markets, including India, North America, and Europe. Traditionally, the "R"-branded phones were exclusive to the Indian market. This global expansion represents a strategic shift for OnePlus.
The OnePlus 12R is expected to feature two color options: Iron Gray and Cool Blue. A notable design change includes the repositioned alert slider on the left edge of the device, which is part of a new antenna system. This system is designed to enhance performance, especially during online gaming sessions.

For photography enthusiasts, the device is likely to be equipped with a triple camera system featuring a 50-megapixel main sensor (Sony IMX890 with OIS), an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro lens.
