Last month, Oppo introduced the Oppo A58 4G smartphone in Indonesia. Now, there are indications that the company is preparing to launch the device in India. Leaked information suggests that the phone is scheduled for an August 8th launch, with sales commencing on August 10th. The Oppo A58 4G is expected to be offered in a single variant with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage, priced at Rs 14,999 (approximately $181). Two color options are likely: Dazzling Green and Glowing Black.

The Oppo A58 4G is touted to have a unique 2.8D curved body that sports a glowing silk design, resistant to fingerprint smudges. This design encases a robust 5,000mAh battery supported by 33W fast charging.

Additionally, the phone will come equipped with dual stereo speakers, enhanced with ultra-volume mode and Dirac sound effects. The camera setup on the back consists of a 50-megapixel main sensor coupled with a 2-megapixel portrait lens.

The other features of the phone were not detailed in the leaks. Nonetheless, it's anticipated that the specifications of the Indian variant will mirror those of the version available in Indonesia. This would imply the inclusion of a 6.72-inch LCD panel with FHD+ resolution, an 8-megapixel selfie camera, a Helio G85 processor, LPDDR4x RAM, eMMC 5.1 storage, and an Android 13 operating system overlaid with ColorOS 13.1. To ensure security, the device might also sport a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
