Recently, Realme affirmed that the primary camera of the Realme GT 5 will be a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS). While the specifications of the additional cameras on the GT 5 haven't been officially disclosed, indications suggest the inclusion of a 2-megapixel macro camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens alongside the IMX890.

Realme has also verified that the Realme GT 5 will support the latest Wi-Fi 7 connectivity. The device will come with separate antennas for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth to prevent interference between the two. Notably, Realme's in-house Wi-Fi 7 enhancements will lead to a remarkable 20ms reduction in average game latency compared to its predecessor, coupled with a 50 percent increase in throughput for weaker signals.

Furthermore, the company has confirmed the Realme GT 5's compatibility with an advanced triple-frequency GPS positioning system. By integrating three GPS frequencies – L1, L2, and L5 – along with a four-frequency Beidou configuration involving B1I, B1C, B2a, and B2b signals, the device achieves unprecedented navigation accuracy, even down to specific lanes.

In terms of other specifications, the Realme GT 5 will sport a 6.7-inch OLED FHD+ display with an impressive 144Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, offer up to 24 GB of LPDDR5x RAM, up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage, and run on Realme UI 4.0 based on Android 13. A distinctive feature is the rear-facing RGB light unit. The device will be available in two variants: one with a 4,600mAh battery supporting 240W charging, and another with a 5,240mAh battery featuring 150W fast charging.
