Realme is gearing up to unveil the GT5 on August 28, as announced through their official Weibo page. This impending launch marks a significant milestone for the brand, commemorating its successful five-year journey in the industry. Although the spotlight will initially be on the GT5, enthusiasts can anticipate the arrival of the Pro variant later in the year.

During the upcoming event, in addition to the much-anticipated GT5, Realme is set to introduce new audio wearables. Among these offerings is the Realme Buds Air 5, positioned as a more budget-friendly alternative to the Buds Air 5 Pro. These audio companions are slated to make their debut in India on the following Wednesday.

With confirmed details at hand, the Realme GT5 is poised to feature the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. However, certain aspects, such as the camera setup and overall design, remain shrouded in speculation. Teasers suggest the presence of a distinctive protruding camera island, reminiscent of the design language showcased in the leaked GT Neo6, a design approach reminiscent of the OnePlus 10 and even the Galaxy S21 series to some extent.

On a parallel note, the upcoming Realme Buds Air 5 are slated to offer an active noise cancellation capability of 50 dB. This feature echoes that of its Pro counterpart. Additionally, the promotional materials highlight a remarkable 4,000 Hz UW noise reduction feature. This frequency corresponds to the range of human auditory perception, indicating that the new Buds are engineered to effectively isolate and enhance the clarity of voices amid ambient sounds.
