Redmi 12 5G has made its debut in the global market, and now, it's garnering attention in China too. The phone boasts a 6.79-inch LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a high resolution of 2460x1080, and innovative features such as DC dimming and intelligent brightness adjustment. One of its primary attractions is its affordable price point. The new 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant is priced at 949 Yuan ($131), while the other configurations are available at the following prices: 6GB + 128GB at ¥999 ($135), 8GB + 128GB at ¥1,099 ($150), and 8GB + 256GB at ¥1,299 (~$180).

Its aesthetics are bound to appeal to users, with two elegant color options: Glacier White and Stardust Gray. With a sleek glass body, it possesses a slimness that measures at just 8.17mm. Internally, the phone is driven by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, optimized with a 4nm process that can achieve CPU speeds of up to 2.2GHz. Complementing this is the LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. The Redmi 12 5G promises durability with its robust 5000mAh battery, further equipped with 18W fast charging.

Photography enthusiasts can benefit from its 50MP main camera, accompanied by a 2MP depth-of-field lens. The device doesn't fall short on convenience either; it houses features such as an infrared remote control, side fingerprint unlocking, versatile NFC support, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
