Redmi 12C is built around a 6.71-inch LCD display with a dewdrop notch, 500 nits of brightness, and a resolution of 1650 x 720 pixels (HD+). It is equipped with LPDDR4x RAM, eMMC 5.1 storage, and the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC. On the back of the phone, there are two cameras: a 50MP primary sensor and a depth sensor. It has a camera with 5 MP on the front.

Dual SIM, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, and GNSS are all supported by the phone. It has a MicroUSB port, a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, a dedicated MicroSD card slot, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The optimized MIUI 13 starts up on the device. Although the version of Android is unknown, it is most likely Android 13. Some MIUI 13 features are missing from the software because it is designed to work with low-level hardware. Last but not least, the Redmi 12C has support for standard 10W charging and a 5,000mAh battery.
