Xiaomi introduced the Redmi 12C smartphone in China last December, and it made its way to India in March alongside the Redmi Note 12 4G. The Redmi 12C boasts a 6.7-inch HD+ display, a Helio G85 SoC, a 50MP primary camera, a 5MP selfie camera, and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. Now, Xiaomi appears to be gearing up for the launch of the Redmi 13C, the successor to the 12C, though specific details about its release date and specifications are currently unknown.

As per MySmartPrice's reveal, they've obtained renders of the Redmi 13C ahead of its official launch, thanks to industry sources. Taking a closer look at the render, the Redmi 13C will feature a water-drop shape notch at the center of its display. On the back of the device, there will be a triple-camera setup accompanied by an LED flash, with the text next to the camera module indicating a 50MP primary camera. The device will have its power button and volume keys located on the right edge.

On the bottom of the device, you'll find a speaker grille, a charging port, and a microphone, while the top side features a 3.5mm audio jack. The renders also showcase the smartphone in three color options: Light Green, Black, and Blue (although these may not be the official names). While the device's detailed specifications are currently undisclosed, more information is expected to surface if the Redmi 13C undergoes certification or appears on benchmark websites in the coming days.

Recalling the specifications of the Redmi 12C, it sports a 6.71-inch display with HD+ resolution and a standard 60Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it's powered by the Helio G85 SoC, coupled with a Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU. The smartphone offers up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Running Android 12 with the MIUI 13 skin, it features a 50MP dual-camera setup, a 5MP selfie camera, a fingerprint sensor, a microSD card slot, IP52 rating, a 5,000mAh battery, and 10W charging.
