Anticipation is building for the release of Xiaomi's Redmi K70 series, which is poised to succeed the Redmi K60 series from the previous year. Recently, details about the Pro variant of this lineup surfaced on the popular Geekbench benchmarking platform.

The Redmi K70 Pro, identified by its model number 23113RKC6C, was found on Geekbench, revealing core specifications. This model number had been previously spotted alongside two other K70-series devices in another database. Geekbench data highlighted the motherboard of the K70 Pro, codenamed "Corot." This motherboard is equipped with a diverse set of cores: four running at 2GHz, three at 3GHz, and a primary core operating at 3.35GHz, aligning with the characteristics of the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+. Furthermore, the device boasts 16GB RAM and will be delivered with the Android 13 OS pre-installed.

In terms of performance metrics on Geekbench, the Redmi K70 Pro garnered scores of 1,882 for single-core tests and 4,536 for multi-core tests. While the Geekbench listing did not offer extensive details about the phone, there were other sources with insights. A credible source, Digital Chat Station, previously indicated that the Redmi K70 Pro would harness the power of the forthcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. This stands in contrast to the Geekbench listing. Additionally, the smartphone is speculated to come with a substantial 5,120mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging. Design-wise, it might flaunt a flat display with a sharp 2K resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz.
