After a long anticipation, the Galaxy S23 FE is now broadening its market footprint.

Samsung Galaxy S23 FE expands its global reach

Samsung's Galaxy S23 FE has been the talk of the tech town since its unveiling earlier this month. The device has steadily made its way to various global markets, with China being the latest to join the list. Samsung has initiated the promotional campaigns for the smartphone in China, indicating its imminent release. While the phone is already listed on JD.com with designated pre-order and sale dates, the company has remained tight-lipped about its pricing strategy and available variants for the Chinese market.

The Galaxy S23 FE's specifications for China align with those for North America, boasting the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. Interestingly, many global regions, such as Europe, India, Australia, and several other Asian countries, will see the device embedded with the Exynos 2200 chipset.

Both chipsets, despite their distinct architecture and features, share a common criticism for sub-optimal thermal performance. Notably, the Exynos variant stands out with its support for hardware-level tracing, a feature yet to be harnessed by existing games.

Apart from the regional chipset variations, the Galaxy S23 FE maintains uniformity in its features across all markets. Some might even argue that its striking resemblance to the Galaxy A54 places it in the premium category of the latter. The device is packed with a myriad of features, including a 6.4-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, a versatile triple-camera setup consisting of 50MP (wide), 12MP (ultrawide), and 8MP (3x telephoto) lenses. Other notable specifications include a 10MP front camera, an in-display fingerprint scanner, dual stereo speakers, USB 3.2 compatibility, Samsung DeX support, IP68 water and dust resistance, a 4,500mAh battery, 25W wired, and 15W wireless charging capabilities.
