Samsung is on track to reveal its next-generation Galaxy foldables, alongside a line-up of smartwatches and tablets at the upcoming Unpacked event. Contrary to the usual August timeline, this year's event is speculated to be held towards the end of July. In the run-up to the official unveiling, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 has become a subject of numerous leaks and rumors. Recently, information regarding the forthcoming device's color variants has emerged.

The latest revelation comes from Ross Young, the CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC). According to his tweet, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 is set to arrive in four unique color variants – Blue, Green, Platinum, and Yellow. Young adds that the device will also be available in a range of additional colors, including the previously popular shades of Beige, Grey, Light Green, and Light Pink.

In addition, Young shared that the Galaxy Z Fold 5 will also feature a variety of colors. It will be offered in Blue and Platinum, as well as the high-volume colors of Beige, Black, and Light Blue.

Based on leaked renders, it appears that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 will likely sport a large secondary display, following the trend set by devices such as the OPPO Find N2 Flip, Vivo X Flip, and the upcoming Motorola Razr Ultra. Despite this, Samsung's upcoming foldable flip phone's display is designed to resemble a folder-like icon, allowing ample room for a dual rear camera setup. This screen is anticipated to be 3.4 inches in size, boasting a 720p resolution. Previous reports suggest that the device will have a black back panel, designed to conceal the folder-like cutout when the screen is not lit, thereby maintaining a visually appealing aesthetic.
