Samsung Electronics is confident in the sales prospects of the Galaxy S23 series and expects growth of at least 10% compared to the previous year. This optimism is due to the device's strong features, such as its high-resolution 200-megapixel camera and faster processor.

Recently, Qualcomm and Google joined forces for Extended Reality (XR) and plan to work with Samsung to bring new services to the market, starting with the launch of the Galaxy S23. The South Korean tech company is focused on continuously improving its technology and innovation to meet the needs of consumers.

Samsung targets increased sales in 2023 by Galaxy S23 series

At a press conference in San Francisco, the head of Samsung Electronics' MX division, Roh Taemoon, stated that the company expects double-digit growth in global sales for both the Galaxy S series and foldable series. The CEO mentioned that early customer feedback from around the world has been positive, with Verizon, the largest mobile carrier in the US, predicting higher sales compared to the previous year.

Market research indicates that Samsung Electronics is aiming for a range of 26 million to 30 million units with the Galaxy S23 because the previous Galaxy S22 series has sold 23.79 million units over the course of 11 months. In addition, President Roh stated that it is premature to confirm specific sales targets due to the possibility of significant market shifts.

The company's president, Roh, predicts that the Galaxy S23 Ultra will make up over half of total sales. He also mentioned that despite difficult market conditions such as supply shortages, the Galaxy S22 series, released last year, still accounted for more than 40% of total sales.
