Samsung W23 5G and W23 Flip launched today. Both of the phones are the luxury variants of Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 series. Let's see what they offer to the foldable scene.
The Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 foldable phones were introduced by Samsung in August. With their impressive features, they have changed standards of the foldable smartphone market. Now, Samsung W23 5G and W23 Flip launched as a luxury custom variants of Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4.

These foldable smartphones launched as special variants of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4. Both devices have gold-plated frames and hinges. These hinges have thinner and more flexible structure than that of Galaxy Z Fold 4/Flip 4. The back covers of the phones are also coated with black ceramic. However, the technical specifications of the phones are almost the same as the Galaxy Z Fold 4 / Flip 4 models.

Samsung W23 5G shows up with 7.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with 2K resolution. Besides 6.2-inch cover Super AMOLED display, 120Hz refresh rate is ready for smooth scrolling and gaming experience. For the W23 Flip, same features appear as it is in the Galaxy Z Fold 4. W23 Flip launched with 6.7-inches main display and 1.9-inch cover display with the support of 120Hz refresh rate.
For the optics, W23 surfaces with 50 Megapixel primary camera, 12 Megapixel ultra wide angle lens and 12 Megapixel telephoto unit. There is also a 4 Megapixel under-screen camera. The W23 Flip has a 12 Megapixel primary camera and a 12 Megapixel ultra wide angle lens and 10 Megapixel selfie lens appears on the front side.
Samsung launched two devices with the same processor. Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 supports the both phone. However, W23 has variants up to 16GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. To recall, Galaxy Z Fold 4/Flip 4 has variants up to 12GB RAM and 8GB RAM respectively. Moreover, W23 Flip and W23 5G are supported by 3,700mAh and 4,400mAh batteries respectively.
As they are luxury variants of Galaxy Z Fold 4/Flip 4, the price range seems much higher. The Samsung W23 5G has a price tag of $ $2.207 for the 16GB + 512GB variant while Samsung W23 Flip costs $1,379 for the 12GB + 512GB option.
