During the recent Redmi Note 13 launch in China, Lu Weibing alluded to the much-anticipated release of the Redmi K70 series set for later this year. As of now, Mojang Studios has remained tight-lipped, neither officially nor unofficially revealing any specifics about this upcoming series. Still, recent leaks and certifications have provided enthusiasts with glimpses of the possible features and specifications.

One such intriguing revelation suggests that the Redmi K70's design might be influenced by the aesthetics of the Xiaomi 13T. If these speculations hold true, the Redmi K70 will boast a square camera module equipped with three rear sensors. Moving away from the industry norm of plastic casings, this smartphone is anticipated to come with a glass cover and an all-metal frame, emphasizing a premium build quality. Under the hood, a powerful 5000 mAh battery is expected to be incorporated.

Furthermore, a listing identified as Redmi K70, with the model code 23117RK66C, made an appearance on Geekbench. This listing showcased an octa-core CPU with a 1 + 2 + 5 core configuration and a clock speed reaching 3.19 GHz. While there's speculation that this might be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, the absence of definitive evidence makes it hard to confirm. However, given that the Redmi K60 housed the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, it's plausible that its successor, the K70, could feature this newer chipset.

Building on its legacy of rapid charging capabilities, rumors suggest that the Redmi K70 might support 90W charging, a significant bump from the 67W found in its predecessor. Furthermore, the Pro variant of the K70 is believed to surpass the standard model with a whopping 120W charging capability.
