The eagerly anticipated new cost-performance product, Tecno Camon 20 series, is now on sale

Tecno has officially unveiled its Camon 20 series smartphones in India. This latest series, comprising the standard, pro, and premier variants, succeeds the Camon 19 series released last year. Although the new devices share many similarities, there are several notable differences to mention.

The Camon 20 series smartphones come with a centrally-positioned punch-hole AMOLED display, measuring 6.67 inches, and incorporate an in-built fingerprint scanner. The display features an FHD+ resolution and supports a 120Hz refresh rate. The design language of all three variants is quite similar with a geometric pattern on a leather back panel and a uniquely pentagonal camera island.

On the photography front, the Camon 20 and Camon 20 Pro 5G devices feature a triple rear camera setup with a 64MP RGBW main sensor, which has optical image stabilization (OIS), along with a 2MP macro and 2MP bokeh lens. The Camon 20 Premier 5G differs slightly with a 50MP RGBW sensor, a 108MP ultra-wide and macro unit, and a 2MP bokeh lens. For selfies, each phone in the Camon 20 series includes a 32MP camera.

Internally, the Camon 20 is powered by a Helio G85 processor, while the Camon 20 Pro 5G and Camon 20 Premier 5G run on a Dimensity 8050 chipset. Each smartphone is equipped with 8GB of RAM and supports an additional 8GB of virtual memory. The Camon 20 and Camon 20 Pro 5G feature 256GB of internal storage, while the Camon 20 Premier 5G comes with 512GB. A built-in heat dissipation system is also present across the range.

All Camon 20 series smartphones are powered by a 5,000mAh battery. The standard and pro models support 33W charging, while the premier variant is capable of 45W charging. The smartphones come with Android 13 and HiOS 13 pre-installed. Connectivity options include a USB-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, Dual 4G VoLTE, and 5G for the Pro and Premier versions.

The Tecno Camon 20 is priced at Rs 14,999 and will be available from May 29th. The Camon 20 Pro 5G, priced between Rs 19,999 and Rs 21,999, will be on sale from the second week of June. The Camon 20 Premier 5G will be available from the third week of June, with pricing to be announced nearer the time. All phones will be available for purchase on Amazon.
