The excitement surrounding the upcoming launch of Google's Pixel 8 series is palpable. A recent leak reveals the retail packaging of the base Pixel 8 model showcasing the Hazel color variant. This revelation came to light when an image of the retail box surfaced online. This packaging not only confirmed the Hazel color option but also gave a glimpse of the phone’s design, showcasing its front, back, and side profiles. Distinctively, the rear showcases a long visor-like camera module, incorporating a dual-camera setup. In contrast, the front design highlights a center-aligned punch-hole cutout, presumably for the selfie camera.

On the technical side, insights suggest that the Pixel 8 will house the Tenso G3 SoC. The rear camera setup boasts a 50-megapixel dual array, whereas the front might feature a 10.5-megapixel camera for selfies. Other significant features to anticipate are fingerprint and face recognition capabilities, IP68 rating for water and dust resistance, and the Android 14 OS pre-installed. Google is set to officially introduce the Pixel 8 series in the coming week.
