Two significant devices appeared in the certification process at once

Prominent names in the tech world, Motorola and Samsung, continue their device development. Here are the latest details regarding the Galaxy Tab S9 FE Plus and Moto G54 5G.

Two significant devices appeared in the certification process at once

Motorola is gearing up to introduce new mid-range smartphones soon. Recent certifications have brought the Motorola Moto G54 5G to attention after its appearance on the UAE’s TDRA and the FCC, where it was accompanied by the Motorola Moto G84 5G.

While comprehensive specifications and features of the Moto G54 5G remain under wraps, its listing on the TDRA validates its impending release in the UAE. Expected features include a 6.5-inch FHD+ display, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone might sport a dual-rear camera setup, with a prominent 50MP primary sensor boasting Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). Additionally, the device is speculated to have a 16MP front-facing camera. The phone will run on Android 13 and incorporate a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, Dolby Atmos, and Moto Spatial Sound. Potential color options include Ambrosia, Ballad Blue, Coronet Blue, and Outer Space.

In parallel, Samsung is making waves with its upcoming Galaxy Tab S9 FE Plus, which has also been sighted on TDRA under the model number SM-X610. Its launch, predicted for mid-October, is eagerly anticipated. While official confirmations from Samsung are pending, leaked design renders have given enthusiasts a sneak peek. The tablet is set to debut in the UAE, with two variants on offer: the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and the Galaxy Tab S9 FE Plus, each differing slightly in display size and specs.

Specifically, the Tab S9 FE will feature a 10.9-inch display, whereas the Plus variant is slated to have a 12.4-inch panel. Dimension-wise, the Tab S9 FE will measure 254.3 x 165.8 x 6.7mm, and its larger counterpart will come in at 285.4 x 185.4 x 6.54 mm. Interestingly, design renders hint at a magnetic strip suggesting S-Pen compatibility, although the FCC listing doesn't explicitly mention this feature. Listings on Geekbench indicate the incorporation of the Exynos 1380 chipset in both tablets, available in 6GB and 8GB RAM options. A notable feature is the 25W fast charging supported by the EP-TA800 charger. Pricing is speculated to start at around $600 for the standard variant, positioning it slightly above the Galaxy Tab S7 FE’s $529 tag.
