As it was scheduled, Vivo launched the Vivo X90 series today. The lineup from Vivo offers Vivo X90, Vivo X90 Pro and Vivo X90 Pro+ models. Let's check all the details of the new flagship smartphone series from Vivo.

Vivo X90 specifications and price

The vanilla Vivo X90 offers a 6.78-inch curved OLED display with a resolution of 2800 x 1260 pixels, 10-bit color depth, and up to 120Hz refresh rate along with 452 PPI. Thanks to 2160Hz PWM dimming and %100 DCI-3 color gamut supports, smartphone offers fascinating display experience. For the optics, with ZEISS optimizations, smartphone offers OIS-supporting 50-megapixel Sony IMX866 primary lens, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide unit, and a 12-megapixel 2x telephoto shooter plus 32-megapixel selfie lens. It is also reported that all lineup function on OriginOS 3 based on Android 13 and powered by IP68 water-resistance certification.

As to chipset, the vanilla Vivo X90 is powered by the latest MediaTek Dimensity 9200 chipset, along with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.0 storage plus Vivo V2 ISP chip for photography. Moreover, smartphone is backed by 4,810mAh battery supporting 120W fast charging. Smartphone is priced at $518 for the base(8GB/128GB) option. Smartphone also offers black, blue and red color variants.

The professional model of the lineup, Vivo X90 Pro, comes with a 6.78-inch OLED display with curved edges and FHD+ resolution. Featuring 120Hz refresh rate, 1,300 nit peak brightness and HDR10+ support, Vivo X90 Pro offers better display experience than vanilla model. For the optics, Vivo X90 Pro features OIS-supporting 50-megapixel Sony IMX866 main lens, a 50-megapixel Sony IMX663 ultra-wide lens, and a 12-megapixel Sony IMX663 portrait camera along with 32-megapixel selfie snapper.

As to chipset, Vivo X90 Pro is also powered by Dimensity 9200 chipset, featuring up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. Moreover, 4,870mAh battery supporting 120W charging powers the smartphone. Smartphone is priced at $700 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage base option.

Vivo X90 Pro+ specifications and price

Offering same display features except for upgraded 2K resolution, Vivo X90 Pro+ is a smartphone that is heavily focused on photography. Vivo X90 Pro+ features a 1-inch Sony IMX989 50-megapixel primary camera with f/1.75 aperture. It is supported with a 48-megapixel Sony IMX598 ultra-wide lens, a 50-megapixel Sony IMX758 portrait unit with OIS support, and a 64-megapixel periscope zoom lens with 90mm focal length plus 10x optical zoom. The both Pro models offer Vivo V2 ISP and dToF laser autofocus plus ZEISS T* optics for excellent photography.

Vivo X90 Pro+ camera

Vivo X90 Pro+ has also been the first smartphone to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, featuring up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. As to battery, smartphone offers 4,700mAh battery along with 80W charging. Lastly, Vivo X90 Pro+ is priced at $910 for 12GB RAM and 256GB storage option. The both Pro models offer black and red color options. The whole lineup will go sale in China as of December 6.
