Vivo has made significant strides in expanding its smartphone portfolio. Recently, the brand unveiled the Y200 smartphone in India and announced several models like the Y55t, Y33t, and Y78t in China. The company's innovation seems relentless as another Y-series device is in the works, the Vivo Y27s. This upcoming model was glimpsed on TKDN and Bluetooth SIG certification websites. Its recent appearance on Geekbench offers a sneak peek into some of its core specifications.

Identified by the model number V2322 on Geekbench, the Vivo Y27s showcases a motherboard with the codename ‘bengal’. This device incorporates eight cores in total, with four running at 1.90GHz and the other four at 2.40GHz. This setup hints at the inclusion of the Snapdragon 680 SoC, complemented by the Adreno 610 GPU. The benchmarking data further indicates that the device will house 8GB RAM, suggesting the possibility of multiple variants upon its official launch. Notably, the smartphone will be equipped with the Android 13 OS.

In terms of performance metrics, the Vivo Y27s has earned scores of 412 and 1,454 in the single-core and multi-core Geekbench tests, respectively. As its official release approaches, the tech community is eager to discover more details about this model.

Positioning itself as a successor, the Vivo Y27s follows the Y27 5G and Y27 4G models, both of which were introduced earlier this year. These previous models sported a 6.64-inch LCD display with FHD+ resolution, and they were equipped with a 50MP dual rear camera setup along with an 8MP selfie camera. Under the hood, the Y27 5G utilized the Dimensity 6020 chipset, while the Y27 4G employed the Helio G85. Both devices offered 6GB RAM, 128GB of storage, and were supported by a robust 5,000mAh battery.
