After much anticipation fueled by rumors and leaks, Vivo has unveiled its V29 series smartphones in India, with the range featuring the V29 and V29 Pro models. While both devices share a number of specifications, there are marked differences between them that consumers would be keen to note.

The high-end V29 Pro boasts a sleek 6.78-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution. This display stands out with a 120Hz refresh rate and a punch hole cutout. In designing the V29 series, Vivo aimed for a premium touch with a combination of a metallic frame and glass back. The phone’s design is elegantly contoured with both the front and back edges curving seamlessly. The V29 Pro has a weight of 188 grams and a slim profile at 7.46mm thickness. The phone's performance is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC, coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB storage.

Embedded within this model is the Android 13 OS adorned with Vivo’s FuntouchOS 13 custom skin. In terms of camera capabilities, the rear features a trio: a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS, a 12-megapixel portrait lens, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens. For those selfie moments and video calls, the front camera offers a 50-megapixel sensor. Additional noteworthy specs include an in-display fingerprint scanner, Bluetooth 5.3, ring-shaped LED lighting, and a 4,600mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging.
