Xiaomi 12S Ultra Concept allows users to mount a huge Leica lens

Xiaomi, one of the most important names in the smartphone world, has continually working with  cameras of its devices. Launching the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ with a 200 Megapixel sensor, considered to be mid-range phone, the company also cooperates with Leica in its flagship models. This new collaboration has now produced a new phone called Xiaomi 12S Ultra Concept. 

Xiaomi 12S Ultra Concept has an interchangeable Leica M lens

The smartphone introduced today is completely focused on the camera. The device has two 1-inch image processing sensors. One of them is the optic lens of the main camera. The other is a 1-inch non-optic lens added for Leica M series professional lens attachment.

There is also an ultra-wide-angle lens under the main lens. After attaching Leica M lens into rear side, smartphone transforms into a "real camera". This phone is able to do amazing things in terms of photography. However, the release date and price of Xiaomi 12S Ultra Concept Edition have not been announced. The smartphone is currently going through the trial phase.

In addition, there is a possibility that the smartphone might be introduced with a high-end chipset such as Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Except for the camera and chip specs, it is considered that the phone will not feature any other changes as to display or more.
