The recent unveiling of the Honor Magic Vs 2 foldable phone was complemented by the announcement of the Honor Watch 4 Pro in China, enriching Honor’s portfolio with a dash of technological elegance. The Honor Watch 4 Pro doesn’t just serve as a functional gadget; it’s a sophisticated blend of tradition and modernity in a timepiece.

Designed with an eye for classic aesthetics, the watch presents a visually appealing interface through a 1.5-inch AMOLED display that bears a resolution of 464 x 464 pixels. Its adaptive LTPO technology enables the screen to be always on without significantly impacting battery life. The case, rendered in a robust stainless steel and adorned with a frost-like texture, encloses a 46mm dial. Navigation through the features is facilitated by a rotating crown complemented by a linear motor vibration and a strategically placed physical button on the side. Practicality is further enhanced by water resistance up to 5 meters.

Taking a deep dive into the health-centric functionalities, the Honor Watch 4 Pro is more than just a timekeeper. Equipped with a heart-rate monitor, SpO2 sensor, and trackers for both sleep and stress, it seamlessly becomes an unobtrusive wellness companion. An advanced feature also includes the Honor Heart Health, capable of detecting atrial fibrillation, supplemented by a fat-burning algorithm to aid fitness enthusiasts. To ensure adventures are tracked accurately, built-in GPS and various sports modes are included.

Tech enthusiasts will appreciate the eSIM connectivity, providing voice calling functionality without relying on a tethered smartphone. Further embracing autonomy, the watch supports WeChat, includes an independent payment option, NFC, and provides the convenience of music streaming. Despite these functionalities, battery life doesn’t take a significant hit; the device promises 14 days of usage under standard conditions and up to 10 days when employing eSIM functionality.

Buyers can select from a palette of Black, Brown, and Dark Green. The first two options are tagged at CNY 1,599 ($219), while the Dark Green variant holds a price of CNY 1,799 ($246). The anticipated smartwatch is currently available for pre-orders, with sales set to commence on October 16.
