Xiaomi is gearing up for an exciting launch event, with the spotlight on the Xiaomi 13T series. Alongside these smartphones, the company is also introducing the new Watch 2 Pro and Band 8 wearables. Adding to the intrigue, rumors suggest another potential release: the Xiaomi Band 8 Active. Though yet to be confirmed by the company, this smart band has already made waves online, with details on its specifications, design, and pricing now available.

It's believed that the Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Active will be a more affordable alternative to the standard Xiaomi Band 8. Reports indicate a pricing of approximately EUR 40 for the Active model in Europe, while the regular Band 8 is anticipated to be around EUR 50.

Diving into the specifications, the Band 8 Active will flaunt a 1.47-inch TFT display, boasting a resolution of 172 x 320 pixels. With 500 nits of peak brightness and a pixel density of 247 PPI, this wearable promises clarity. Under the hood, it's equipped with 192 kB of RAM and 16 MB of ROM. The band is powered by a 210mAh battery, which should offer up to 14 days of usage on a single charge and will take approximately two hours to recharge.

In terms of its build, the smart band has a weight of 26.4 grams and a thickness of 9.99mm. Notably, it's designed with a water resistance of 5 ATM, meaning it should function efficiently up to 50 meters underwater. Connectivity is enabled via Bluetooth 5.1, and it's fitted with a 3-axis accelerometer and a PPG heart rate sensor.

For health enthusiasts, this band is set to offer a plethora of features. These include heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, and SpO2 measurements. Users can also look forward to all-day heart rate monitoring and enhanced sleep tracking. Furthermore, it's geared to support over 50 workout modes, encompassing 10 specialized routines. Aesthetically, there will be an option of over 100 band faces, even allowing individuals to personalize with their photographs.
