Honor incorporated another model into its smart television portfolio

In an addition to their innovative product line, Honor has introduced the new Honor Smart Screen 5, a high-end TV set designed to deliver an unrivaled viewing experience. This TV set, which also sports a bezel-less design and runs on Honor's proprietary MagicOS operating system, brings 4K resolution to the forefront, accompanied by a host of e-sports-grade features and a 144Hz variable refresh rate.

The Smart Screen 5 from Honor features a 4K ultra-clear display that can reproduce over 1.07 billion colors. The screen possesses a cinema-level wide color gamut DCI-P3 and a high color accuracy of △ E≈2. The display's screen-to-body ratio exceeds 98% and supports 4K HDR10 decoding. Honor has incorporated their AI-PQ technology and AI-SR super-resolution technology into the TV, purportedly to enhance the quality of the image.

Sporting a large, e-sports-grade screen, the TV also has an exclusive game mode, a host of interfaces, and supports a variable refresh rate from 48Hz to 144Hz. It can even support a 240Hz high refresh rate mode with low latency in milliseconds. Powering the TV is the 4K flagship chip MT9653. Notably, it is the first smart TV to earn the highest level four-star certification for Tencent START cloud games, suggesting a seamless, lag-free gaming experience. Also included is a 50-megapixel AI ultra-wide-angle camera, another standout feature.

The Honor Smart Screen 5 65-inch model will be available for pre-sale in China from July 12, with the official sale starting on July 20. The recommended retail price stands at 3,999 yuan (about $554.85), but the first-sale exclusive price will be 3,699 yuan (around $514.85). A 75-inch version will also be available, priced at 5,299 yuan (approximately $729.85).
