The tech community is abuzz with anticipation as Google gears up for the unveiling of its Pixel 8 series on October 4. While the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro are the main attractions, Google isn't stopping there. The company plans to introduce two fresh color variants for its Pixel Buds Pro: Bay Blue and Porcelain. Images have emerged, giving us a first glimpse of these new shades.

These images, shared by The Tech Outlook in collaboration with OnLeaks, offer a detailed view of the Pixel Buds Pro in both Bay Blue and Porcelain. As anticipated, the design remains unchanged from the original. For those unfamiliar, the earbuds have been available in Coral, Lemongrass, Fog, and Charcoal.

Shifting focus to the technical side, the Google Pixel Buds Pro flaunts a lightweight in-ear form factor. They house 11mm drivers and are enhanced with active noise cancellation. Among its notable features is the Silent Seal, which is designed to conform to the user’s ear, enhancing the noise cancellation experience. The earbuds also possess a 6-core audio chip, driven by Google's proprietary algorithms.

For users seeking awareness of their surroundings, the Pixel Buds Pro offers a transparency mode. When it comes to battery performance, the earbuds can go up to 11 hours without active noise cancellation and about 7 hours with it enabled. Including the charging case, users can expect up to 31 hours of total playback time. Durability hasn't been overlooked, as the earbuds boast an IPX4 water-resistant rating, while the charging case is rated IPX2. Modern conveniences include support for USB-C, Qi wireless charging, and multipoint connectivity, allowing simultaneous pairing with multiple devices. However, some might find the Bluetooth 5.0 a tad outdated, especially since more affordable alternatives now offer Bluetooth 5.2.
