Realme remains unstoppable in the earbuds industry

Last week, Realme unveiled its latest audio products for the Indian market: the Realme Buds Air 5 and Buds Air 5 Pro TWS earbuds. While the standard Buds Air 5, which boasts a 50dB ANC feature, has already graced the Indian market, starting today, the Buds Air 5 Pro is also available for purchase.

The Buds Air 5 Pro is priced at Rs. 4,999, but there's a special introductory price, knocking it down to Rs. 4,499. Potential buyers have the option to select from two elegant shades: Astral Black and Sunrise Beige. These state-of-the-art earbuds are accessible through multiple platforms, including realme.com, Amazon.in, Flipkart, and various brick-and-mortar outlets.

Delving into the technical side, the Realme Buds Air 5 Pro showcases an 11mm bass driver combined with a 6mm tweeter, promising superior audio quality. They are equipped with a 50dB active noise cancellation feature and environmental noise cancellation. This is enhanced by three microphones on each earpiece, ensuring clarity during calls. Adding to the immersive experience, they also support Spatial audio and the LDAC codec.

Battery longevity stands out as a strong point for these earbuds. They promise a total of 40 hours of playback when combined with the charging case. On a single charge, each earbud can deliver up to 10 hours of listening without ANC and around 7 hours with the ANC feature activated. Another highlight is their quick charging capability – a mere 10-minute charge can yield 7 hours of playback. With a latency of just 40ms, these earbuds are designed to keep audio and video perfectly in sync. Their IPX5 water-resistance rating also means they are up to the challenge, whether it's an intense workout or an unexpected downpour. Moreover, the Dual-device Connection 2.0 feature ensures they can easily switch between different devices, enhancing versatility for various user scenarios.
