Previous reports regarding the Exynos 2400 chipset have provided limited information about its potential power. However, a recent leak has shed more light on the upcoming Samsung-made SoC. According to the latest leak, the GPU (graphics processing unit) of the Exynos 2400 is rumored to be exceptionally powerful, with details indicating that it will be a game-changer in the market.

As per a tweet from a prominent leaker on Twitter, the Exynos 2400 SoC is expected to feature a cutting-edge graphics unit based on RDNA2 architecture, boasting an impressive 6WGP (Work Group Processor). Notably, this is four times the number of compute units compared to the Xclipse 920 GPU present in the Exynos 2200 chipset.

The leak suggests that the Exynos 2400 SoC will feature 12 compute units (CU) in its RDNA2-based graphics unit, which is a significant upgrade compared to the previous GPU that had only 3CU. Although factors such as clock speed and architecture will also impact the overall performance, this increase in CU count is expected to significantly boost the graphics capabilities of the chipset.

Furthermore, Samsung's partnership with AMD and game developers to implement ray tracing technologies in their chips is anticipated to enhance the gaming experience on Exynos-powered devices.

However, there have been limitations reported with the Exynos 2200-powered smartphones not being able to run the highest graphics setting of Diablo: Immortal for Android, indicating that performance improvements in the Exynos 2400 could address these issues.
