The new smartphone from LG is worth a fortune

After its initial introduction at CES 2023, the 97-inch LG Signature OLED TV M3 has now officially hit the Korean market. This wireless TV, which generated quite the buzz after its announcement in January, has finally landed on the market shelves in Korea.

This groundbreaking Signature OLED TV M3 is notable for its impressive 97-inch display, which promises to deliver an immersive viewing experience. It utilizes LG’s innovative Zero Connect technology, a defining characteristic that allows for flawless wireless transmission of 4K resolution video and audio signals in real time at a fluid 120Hz refresh rate.

One of the most striking aspects of this smart TV is its modular design, in which the Zero Connect box is conveniently detached from the main screen. This innovative configuration does not only banish the issue of cable mess but also maintains a perfectly flat display despite its considerable size. Acting as a hub, the Zero Connect box can easily link various devices such as gaming consoles and cable or satellite set-top boxes. The inclusion of multiple HDMI connections further streamlines the device integration process. Additionally, the TV offers wireless connectivity, providing an effortless means to sync with compatible soundbars for superior audio performance, thus making every movie, show, or game a gripping experience.

When it comes to its technical specifications, the TV comes with HDMI 2.1, USB, RF, LAN, and Bluetooth 5.0 options. It leverages the latest wireless connectivity standard, Wi-Fi 6E, to offer data transmission speeds up to three times faster than the previous Wi-Fi 6 standard. HDR support, including Dolby Vision, HDR10, and HLG, ensures that viewers can enjoy content of the highest quality. Powered by a 6th generation AI Alpha 9 4K processor, the TV provides smooth and seamless visuals.

The audio quality is no less impressive, thanks to a 60W speaker output and 4.2 channel configuration, which deliver crystal clear and enveloping sound. The TV measures 2155 x 1628 x 580 mm, including the stand, and weighs 64.5 kg.

In terms of pricing and availability, the LG Signature OLED M (97M3) is priced at KRW 45,800,000 ($35,186). It is currently available in South Korea, with LG planning a global rollout in key markets, including North America and Europe, later in the year.
