In the evolving domain of home entertainment, Xiaomi presents its remarkable addition of 65-inch and 75-inch TVs to the S Pro series in China, coming on the heels of the 100-inch flagship's launch in August. Although they are smaller, these TVs maintain a compelling balance between affordability and high-quality specifications, which warrants a closer examination.

The 65-inch and 75-inch S Pro models boast 4K 144Hz high-refresh-rate Mini LED screens, promising vibrant and smooth visual experiences with a peak brightness of 2200 nits. The 10-bit panels enable the rendering of up to 1.07 billion colors. Notably, the screen also secures a Delta E value close to 1 and receives Dolby Vision certification, ensuring accurate color reproduction and a stunning HDR visual display.

While both TV models share a plethora of impressive features, a distinct difference lies in the number of backlight zones they possess. The 65-inch variant is equipped with 896 backlight zones, and conversely, the 75-inch version has 1152. This subtle distinction implies that the 75-inch model could produce somewhat more precise and nuanced images, particularly in darker scenes, albeit the difference might not be starkly perceptible during regular viewing.

In the performance arena, both TV models are empowered by a quad-core A73 processor, accompanied by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, which ostensibly fulfills the needs of a majority of users. The TVs are not only technologically proficient in display but also offer versatile connectivity options, including two HDMI 2.1 ports, an HDMI 2.0 port, an AV input, two USB ports, and an optical input, in addition to supporting Wi-Fi 6 and NFC remote control connectivity. Furthermore, they are acoustically enhanced with two 15W speakers, delivering a total sound output of 30W, and are endorsed with Dolby Atmos certification, offering an immersive audio experience.

As for the pricing and availability, the 65-inch S Pro model, featuring 896 backlight zones, is priced at 4,699 yuan (650$) but is currently available at a discounted price of 4,299 (590$) yuan. The larger 75-inch model, featuring 1152 backlight zones, is priced at 6,599 yuan (900$), with a current sale price of 5,999 yuan (820$).
