Earlier this year, Honor introduced the Magic V2, standing out as one of the most slender foldable smartphones in the market. In a continuation of this technological trajectory, the Chinese company is poised to unveil another iteration in its foldable smartphone line—the Honor Magic Vs 2. This new model, designated by its name, is anticipated to be an advanced version compared to last year's Magic Vs. Before the official unveiling, Honor tantalized tech enthusiasts by releasing an image that features the Magic Vs 2, bedecked in a lustrous blue finish.

The released image, shared by Bhavya Siddappa, Honor’s global marketing and communications lead, provides a glimpse into the aesthetics of the new Magic Vs 2. Captured in a vivid blue hue, the smartphone exudes a sparkling ambiance while also showcasing a triple-camera setup, reminiscent of its predecessor, the Magic V2. Though the image doesn’t offer explicit details regarding the thickness of the device, it is purported that the Magic Vs 2 will boast a slimmer profile than the Magic Vs, which proudly presented a 6.1 mm profile when unfolded.

In addition, the Honor Magic Vs 2 is set to make its debut on October 12, simultaneously with the Honor Watch 4 Pro. The upcoming handset is rumored to feature a moderate specification enhancement compared to its predecessor, the Magic Vs. Preliminary insights from a recent Geekbench benchmark hint that the Vs 2 will be driven by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, accompanied by a robust 16 GB of RAM. The camera specifications are expected to include a 50 MP main camera, supplemented by a 50 MP ultra-wide and an 8 MP telephoto lens. Furthermore, the Magic Vs 2 might support a 66W charging capability. Additional specifications and details will be forthcoming during the official launch event.
