Honor is set to expand its product lineup with the introduction of the Honor X40 GT Racing Edition, slated for a September 21st release. This addition will complement the existing Honor X40 GT, which made its debut last October.

Even though the launch date of the Racing Edition is approaching, there's already buzz surrounding the upcoming Honor X50 GT. A source identified as “Smart Pikachu” on Weibo hinted that the Honor X50 GT is currently in its final testing stages. Although no further information was provided, it's always wise to treat such unofficial reports cautiously.

The forthcoming X40 GT Racing Edition will share design elements with its predecessor, the X40 GT. Notably, the device will feature a prominent central ring design complemented by strips on its back. Delving into the expected technical specifications, the Honor X40 GT Racing Edition is set to offer two memory configurations: 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB. A 6.81-inch 1080P LCD screen with an impressive 144Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate will likely grace the device.

Ensuring performance will be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888, coupled with LPDDR5 memory and UFS 3.1 storage. The device's camera capabilities will reportedly be driven by a 50MP triple-camera system. Additionally, users can anticipate prolonged battery life from its 4800mAh battery, which will also support 66W fast charging.
