Honor is reportedly preparing for the launch of a new entry-level smartphone, the Honor X6a, in the European market. A recent report by Appuals has divulged its essential specifications and images, suggesting that its official release might be on the horizon.

The design of the Honor X6a mirrors that of the Honor Play 40, which was introduced in China earlier this month. The front of the device features a punch-hole display, while its back panel carries a dual-camera system. The smartphone also comes with a side-facing fingerprint scanner for security purposes. It is anticipated to be available in two colors: green and black.

Though the exterior design of the Honor X6a varies from the Honor Play 40, their internal specifications are identical. The Honor X6a sports a 6.56-inch IPS LCD display with an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate.

Internally, the Honor X6a is equipped with the Snapdragon 480 Plus chipset, 6 GB of RAM, and a large 5,200mAh battery that supports 10W charging. The smartphone is expected to run on Magic UI-based Android 13.

In terms of camera features, the Honor X6a houses a 5-megapixel front camera. On the rear panel, the device carries a 13-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and an LED flash. The report also reveals that the smartphone will only be available in a 6GB+128GB configuration and will be priced at 169 euros in Europe.

Furthermore, Honor is planning another product launch event for the Chinese market on July 12. During this event, the brand is expected to introduce various products, such as the Honor Magic V2 foldable phone, the Honor MagicPad 13 tablet, the Honor Watch 4, and the Honor Smart Screen 5 TV.
