The Huawei Watch GT 4, introduced in September, first made its debut in Europe before being released in China. Remarkably, within just a month of its introduction, this wearable is being offered at a staggering 50% discount in China.

JD.com, a major online retailer in China, is behind this significant discount, marking it as part of their special sale event.

The Huawei Watch GT 4 46mm, especially in its attractive Spruce Green color, carries a price tag of ¥1,588 (approximately $220). However, with the promotional discount from JD.com, prospective buyers can grab it for a mere ¥794 (around $110).

This discounted price isn't just for any ordinary watch; it's for a device packed with features and sporting a timeless design. Although it operates on HarmonyOS, which lacks an extensive app ecosystem compared to competitors like Apple Watch's watchOS or Wear OS watches, it compensates in other areas.

The watch showcases a 1.43-inch circular AMOLED display with a crisp resolution of 466 x 466 pixels, translating to 326 PPI. Crafted with a stainless steel front bezel, its backplate is composed of durable polymer fiber composite materials. On the health front, it doesn't fall short. From heart rate monitoring to reading blood oxygen levels and tracking sleep, it covers the basics and much more. Furthermore, it has multiple sports modes for those keen on tracking their physical activities. Battery life, a significant concern for many, is also impressive. Huawei asserts that with rigorous usage, the watch can run up to 4 days. In moderate use, one can expect up to 8 days, and with lighter usage, it can even last a staggering 14 days on a single full charge.
