The Huawei Nova 12 series, set to launch in China on December 26, is creating a buzz in the tech community. The series is expected to introduce four devices: the Nova 12 Lite, Nova 12, Nova 12 Pro, and Nova 12 Ultra. Just days before the official launch, an online listing has revealed the pricing details for all the models except the base Nova 12 Lite.

The standard Nova 12 is priced starting at 3299 Yuan (465$), with the Nova 12 Pro beginning at 4499 Yuan (635$). The high-end Nova 12 Ultra, meanwhile, is set to carry a price tag of 5499 Yuan (775$). These prices are likely for the base storage configurations, with higher storage options potentially costing more.

Adding to the anticipation, real-life images of the Nova 12 Ultra and Pro models have surfaced on Weibo, showcasing their sophisticated design. The Nova 12 Ultra is particularly striking, featuring a luxurious leather or glass back. Huawei has confirmed three colors for the phone – Signature Blue, Black, and White – with the latter appearing to have both leather and glass finish options. The leather version of the Nova 12 Ultra is distinctive, with embossed “nova” branding on the back that extends over the entire camera module.

The Nova 12 Pro has also been seen in a purple color option, sporting a camera design similar to the Ultra model. Both the Nova 12 Pro and 12 Ultra are rumored to be equipped with a 5G-enabled Kirin 9000s chipset, the same SoC found in the Mate 60 lineup. Additionally, there is speculation that the Ultra variant may feature two-way satellite communications.

Both devices are expected to come with a curved OLED display boasting a 1.5K resolution. The camera setup for the Nova 12 Pro and Ultra includes a triple camera array with a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS, an ultra-wide lens, and a telephoto camera offering 2x optical zoom support. The front of the phones might house a 60MP sensor for selfies.

With its upcoming launch, the Huawei Nova 12 series is poised to offer a blend of advanced technology and stylish design, catering to a wide range of users looking for top-tier smartphone features.
