The iQOO Neo 9 Series is gearing up for its grand unveiling on December 27, already creating buzz in the tech community. Ahead of its launch, iQOO has announced an exciting partnership with China's NBA, positioning the upcoming iQOO Neo 9 Series as "NBA China's Official Smartphone." The series, especially its red-white color variant, seems to perfectly encapsulate the NBA's color scheme and brand identity, showcased through a captivating teaser on Weibo featuring a basketball in red and white, alongside the tagline "Neo Time to Play."

The iQOO Neo 9 Series will not only be available in the striking red-white variant but also in BlueFighting Black and Nautical Blue. The company has been actively teasing the features of this eagerly awaited smartphone through its official channels. The latest teaser reveals the inclusion of a dual-rear camera setup, consisting of a 50MP Sony IMX920 primary sensor with OIS and a 50MP JN1 ultra-wide sensor, mirroring the camera configuration of the Vivo X100 flagship.

Expected features of the iQOO Neo 9 Pro include a 6.78-inch OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution. It is anticipated to be powered by a Dimensity 9300 SoC, supported by up to 12/16GB LPDDR5x RAM and 256/512GB UFS 4.0 storage. Additionally, a 5160 mAh battery with 120W fast charging is expected, catering especially to gaming enthusiasts. The device is also said to feature iQOO’s self-developed Q1 chip.

For security, an on-screen fingerprint sensor will be included for rapid authentication. The dual-stereo speaker setup is expected to enhance the audio experience. Other notable features include an IR blaster and an x-axis linear motor.

The launch event will not only focus on the iQOO Neo 9 series but will also introduce the new iQOO Watch and iQOO TWS 1e wearables. The watch will operate on Vivo’s BlueOS and is confirmed to feature 16-channel blood oxygen sensors and 8-channel heart rate sensors. The iQOO TWS 1e is set to offer a low latency of 55 ms and will support Bluetooth 5.3.
