Oppo continues to make waves in the smartphone industry with its recent introduction of devices under the A2 series for the Chinese market. Notable among these are the Oppo A2 Pro 5G and the Oppo A2x 5G, recognized by their respective model numbers PJS110 and PJG110. Reports now suggest the brand is expanding this line with the development of a new variant, possibly named Oppo A2m, and identified by the PJU110 model number. An intriguing revelation has been the discovery of another device in the pipeline, the Oppo A2 5G with model number PJB110. This particular model has been spotted on China's TENAA certification platform, revealing a wealth of details about its specifications and design.

The Oppo A2 5G, or PJB110, is expected to have dimensions of 165.6 x 76 x 7.9mm and weigh around 193 grams. This device will likely feature a 6.72-inch FHD+ LCD punch-hole display, and there's speculation that this screen could support refresh rates of either 90Hz or 120Hz.

The TENAA listing indicates a front camera of 8-megapixels, suitable for selfies and video conferencing. Meanwhile, the back of the phone will house a dual-camera setup, with a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.

Performance-wise, the Oppo A2 5G will be powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core processor. Potential buyers will have choices in terms of RAM, with 8GB and 12GB variants available. As for storage, options will range from 128GB to a whopping 512GB. A 5,000mAh battery is set to provide the device's power, though details regarding fast charging remain under wraps. On the software front, the device will run on Android 13, coupled with Oppo's ColorOS 13 interface. While no official announcements have been made about the Oppo A2 5G's release, it's anticipated to launch around China's Double Eleven shopping festival on November 11.
