Oppo has unveiled its new mid-range smartphone in India, the Oppo A79 5G. Though priced affordably, its design has been given a premium touch. With a design that's just 7.99mm thick and a weight of 193 grams, the A79 5G showcases a polycarbonate frame that has a metallic texture. This texture is achieved through a special treatment process. The back of the phone flaunts a flat panel, highlighted by a dual-camera setup where both sensors are encased in a distinct, glossy ring.
The front of the device boasts a 6.72-inch display with an FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. Adding to the user's viewing experience, Oppo has incorporated an All Day AI eye protection feature. Notably, the smartphone is Widevine L1 certified, allowing users to stream HD content from platforms like Amazon Prime and Netflix. Internally, the phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6020 SoC, complemented by 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage.
