Earlier in the year, Realme unveiled the Realme GT Neo 5, equipped with the robust Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset. This was soon followed by the introduction of the Realme GT Neo 5 SE, which had the distinction of being the first-ever phone powered by the Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 2. Recently, murmurs within the tech industry have suggested that Realme is in the process of developing a flagship phone that's set to outperform the Realme GT Neo 5. Expected to debut in China as the Realme GT Neo 5 Pro, the rumor mill has already circulated some of the key features this device may offer. Now, prominent tech leaker, Digital Chat Station, has given us a glimpse into the potential battery capacity of this upcoming device and suggested the availability of two charging variants.

Digital Chat Station, a renowned Chinese tech insider, has been steadily revealing the key features of the Realme GT Neo 5 Pro. The most recent leak hints at a dual-cell battery setup, each with a capacity of 2,540mAh, resulting in a total of 5,000mAh. Additionally, the device is expected to support 150W charging.

Earlier leaks from the same source had indicated that the GT Neo 5 Pro might support 100W charging. This suggests the possibility of the phone offering two charging options, 100W and 150W, much like its sibling, the GT Neo 5, which offers 240W and 150W charging variants in China. Previous leaks also hinted at a 6.74-inch OLED 1.5K 144Hz display with 2160Hz PWM dimming, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM, storage options of 512 GB / 1 TB with UFS 4.0, and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 main camera with OIS support. There is also speculation about a part of the phone's back having a transparent design.

Phones with model numbers RMX3820 and RMX3823 that recently emerged on China's MIIT certification platform are believed to represent the two charging variants of the GT Neo 5 Pro. Industry rumors suggest a launch date in July or August of this year. The GT Neo 5 Pro is anticipated to compete with other impending flagships like the iQOO 11s, Redmi K60 Ultra, and the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro.
