As 2023 nears its end, Redmi has introduced the Redmi 13C 5G in China, following the earlier release of the Redmi 12C at the close of 2022. This new offering is identical to the model that recently debuted in India, showcasing Redmi's consistent approach to its smartphone lineup. The Redmi 13C 5G is equipped with a 6.74-inch IPS LCD panel, featuring a waterdrop notch design. It provides an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and boasts a 90Hz refresh rate. The display's peak brightness reaches up to 600 nits, and it supports DC dimming for a comfortable viewing experience. For security, a side-facing fingerprint scanner is integrated into the device.
Powering the Redmi 13C 5G is the Dimensity 6100 Plus chipset, paired with up to 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The phone accommodates additional storage needs through its microSD card slot. It comes pre-installed with MIUI 14, which is based on Android 13, offering a modern and efficient user interface.

In terms of pricing, the Redmi 13C 5G is available in China in three configurations: 4 GB RAM + 128 GB storage for 749 Yuan ($106), 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage for 849 Yuan ($120), and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage for 1,049 Yuan (~$149). The phone is available in two color options: Rainbow Star Yarn and Star Rock Black.
